The instrument is designed and made as per the industrial standard of People’s Republic of China SY/T5651 Technical Condition for Kinematic Viscosity of Petroleum Products. It is suitable to determine the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (Newtonian liquids) under a constant temperature (low temperature) as per the national standard of People’s Republic of China GB/T265 and ASTM D445 Petroleum products-Determination of kinematic viscosity of and calculation of dynamic viscosity.

The SYD-265G determines the kinematic viscosity of petroleum products by measuring the flow time of liquid through precision capillary viscometer tubes in a temperature-controlled bath. A microprocessor-controlled system ensures precise heating and dual-compressor refrigeration to maintain low temperatures. A stirring motor ensures uniform temperature distribution, while LED illumination enhances visibility for accurate readings.
