The Y09 – 3016 Laser Particle Counter utilizes the principle of light scattering to measure the size and concentration of particles suspended in the air. When particles enter the photosensitive detection area, they cause light to scatter. The intensity of the scattered light is directly related to the size of the particle. This scattered light is then converted through a photoelectric process, amplified, and analyzed to determine the equivalent diameter and the number of particles present in the air.
