Each model in the CR Series adopts 45°/0 geometry, closely aligned with human visual color perception, and employs a full-wavelength balanced LED light source to ensure consistent and repeatable readings. CR20 and CR30 include IPS full-color display screens for real-time viewing, while CR10 offers a screenless design for simplified operation.
The CR Series features a robust ABS enclosure with a 33 mm diameter and 84 mm height for enhanced portability. A full-spectrum LED light source provides stable illumination across 400–700 nm, and a 4 mm measurement aperture ensures accurate sampling. Each instrument integrates an internal rechargeable battery supporting up to 10,000 continuous tests and an automatic magnetic calibration box.
The AELAB CR Series utilizes 45°/0 optical geometry to evaluate reflected color under standardized illumination. Measurements include RGB, Lab, LCh, XYZ, and LRV indices, as well as ΔE* color differences according to CIE, ASTM, and ISO standards.
