The micro-computer control system includes timing functions, parameter memory, and automatic recovery after power interruption. Fluoride-free refrigeration and gentle breeze circulation provide stable, uniform temperature performance suitable for continuous BOD, stability, and microbial studies.
The AELAB SPX-70BIII Cooling Incubator uses a Mirror Stainless Steel inner chamber supported by a Cold Rolling Steel exterior with electrostatic spray coating. Polyurethane insulation stabilizes internal temperature, while an air-cooled hermetic compressor with R134a refrigerant maintains efficient cooling performance. The Stainless Steel heater ensures rapid thermal recovery during cycling. A 43 mm test hole facilitates sensor insertion and third-party monitoring integration.
The SPX-70BIII operates through forced air convection, maintaining uniform airflow distribution across the chamber. Temperature is regulated using an LCD Intelligent PID controller with 0.1 °C resolution and ±1.5 °C uniformity. The system displays real-time measured temperature on the upper LCD row and the set temperature on the lower row. The BIII model supports fixed-value operation and timed incubation up to 99.9 h, enabling accurate, repeatable conditions for microbial growth, BOD analysis, and controlled environmental studies.
The SPX-70BIII supports RS485 communication, external printer connection, digital recording devices, long-range control modules, and wireless messaging alarms. Optional U-Disk data storage is available for GLP/ISO-compliant documentation. Both external and internal power sockets enable the use of sensors, shakers, or specialized testing instruments within the chamber.
