The AELAB HY-100 Series uses an adjustable-speed motor, precision vibration assembly, calibrated volumetric cylinders (25ml, 50ml, 100ml, and 250ml depending on model), and Stainless Steel Φ12mm vibration damping pads. The organosilicon gasket set ensures airtight, stable measurement. The microcomputer system manages vibration cycles, torque, amplitude, and uniformity control.

The instrument measures tap density by applying controlled vertical vibration to a volumetric cylinder containing powder. Adjustable amplitude from 1–15mm and a 0–300rpm frequency range provide reproducible compaction. Once the vibration count is complete, the microcomputer calculates tap density or bulk density (when the cycle count is set to 0). Results follow standardized methods for powder density quantification.
