The AELAB DMS5 Series operates by generating a controlled rotating magnetic field that drives a magnetic stir bar inside the container. Heating models integrate a ceramic-coated aluminium plate capable of delivering uniform thermal distribution up to 340 °C. Temperature can be measured and regulated through the internal sensor or an external PT1000 probe, ensuring precise thermal stability for sensitive applications.

The DMS5-340 and DMS5-340M models incorporate an Aluminium workplate with premium ceramic coating for corrosion resistance, rapid heat transfer, and simplified cleaning. A rotating magnetic field generated by the brushless DC motor drives the magnetic stir bar, ensuring uniform homogenization. Heating is achieved through integrated resistive elements beneath the ceramic-coated plate, regulated with 1 °C increments and controlled via internal electronics or an optional PT1000 external probe. Overheating protection at 420 °C and automatic cutoff prevent thermal overload, while the “Hot” warning activates above 50 °C.
