The heating magnetic stirring bath uses a brushless DC motor and a rotating magnetic field to spin a magnetic stir bar inside the vessel, enabling uniform and continuous mixing. Simultaneously, the borosilicate glass heating bath distributes heat evenly around the sample. Advanced temperature control circuitry, PT1000 sensing, and overheating protection ensure accurate, stable, and safe operation throughout the experiment.
The MS-H220-V3 and MS-H220-V5 are constructed with high borosilicate glass baths that resist thermal shock and ensure efficient heat transfer. A stainless steel base provides mechanical stability and corrosion resistance. The transparent glass window enables real-time monitoring of reaction progress. Brushless DC drive technology supports spark-free, low-noise, and maintenance-free stirring performance. Dual-layer thermal protection and a “HOT” warning indicator enhance operator safety.
The system uses a rotating magnetic field to transfer torque to a magnetic stir bar within the liquid sample, providing 100–1500 rpm adjustable stirring. Heating elements surrounding the borosilicate bath deliver uniform temperature distribution from room temperature up to 220 °C. The PT1000 external temperature sensor enables direct sample temperature measurement, improving control accuracy to ±1 °C with 0.1 °C resolution. Integrated timing, alarm, and protection functions maintain reliable and reproducible thermal processing.
The LCD control panel integrates temperature, speed, and timer management with audible prompts. Although primarily a standalone instrument, the MS-H220 Series supports external PT1000 sensing for accurate closed-loop thermal regulation compatible with GLP-aligned workflows.
