The AELAB MS-PA and MS-PB Magnetic Stirrers are compact and durable stirring instruments designed for routine laboratory mixing tasks. Featuring digital speed control (MS-PA) and a powerful Brushless DC motor, these models deliver stable stirring performance for educational, industrial, and research laboratories.
Both MS-PA and MS-PB use a magnetic field generated by a rotating Brushless DC motor to spin a Teflon-coated magnetic stir bar placed inside the container. As the motor rotates, it transfers torque to the stir bar, resulting in uniform mixing.
The AELAB MS-PA and MS-PB models feature a 135 mm Ø work plate constructed from Nylon+GF, ensuring strong chemical resistance and stable heat tolerance. Each unit integrates a high-efficiency Brushless DC motor designed for smooth, low-noise rotation and extended service life. The compact 150×260×80 mm housing optimizes bench space while maintaining IP42 protection for routine laboratory environments.
Both models utilize a rotating magnetic field to drive a magnetic stir bar within the vessel. The MS-PA includes LED digital speed indication, allowing operators to set and monitor speeds precisely within the 200–1500 rpm range. The MS-PB uses an analog scale to regulate speed from 0–1500 rpm. Data acquisition is stable and uniform due to the constant-torque Brushless DC motor system.
The MS-PA and MS-PB are standalone analog/digital stirring systems and do not require PC connectivity. Their simple interface and direct control knobs ensure compatibility with standard GLP laboratory mixing workflows.
