










The AELAB GM-06 60° Gloss Meter is a portable digital instrument engineered for quantitative surface gloss measurement across metallic and non-metallic materials. Utilizing standardized 60-degree optical geometry, the AELAB GM-06 delivers accurate and repeatable gloss units for laboratory testing, industrial inspection, and production quality control.
Designed in accordance with international gloss measurement standards, the AELAB GM-06 gloss meter integrates automatic calibration, data memorization, and digital signal processing to ensure reliable surface analysis in coatings, printing, construction materials, and polished finishes.
The AELAB GM-06 gloss meter features a compact handheld main unit connected to an external optical probe. The enclosure is engineered for durability and portability, with an ergonomic button layout and a backlit LCD display for operation in low-light environments. The optical measurement system stabilizes incident and reflected light geometry at 60° to ensure consistent gloss evaluation.
The AELAB GM-06 performs surface gloss measurement by projecting a controlled light beam onto the test surface at a fixed 60° angle. The reflected light intensity is detected by the optical sensor and converted into gloss units through internal calibration algorithms compliant with ASTM, ISO, DIN, and JIS standards.
The AELAB GM-06 gloss meter supports USB and RS-232 data output for connection to a personal computer. Optional Bluetooth data adapters with software enable wireless data transmission, facilitating digital reporting, quality documentation, and GLP-aligned data management.
The AELAB GM-06 60° gloss meter is widely applied in surface gloss measurement for paint and ink quality control, stone and tile evaluation, floor maintenance inspection, printed material assessment, plastic and paper testing, ceramic surfaces, and polished metal analysis.
