A 2-liter rotary evaporator is a laboratory instrument used to concentrate or isolate substances through evaporation. It consists of a rotating flask that is heated in a water bath, which allows the solvent to evaporate at a lower temperature. The vapor is then condensed and collected in a separate flask.
