The AELAB Turbidity Meter AE-TU1000 is a benchtop device designed for precise turbidity measurement of liquids, using the nephelometric principle. It ensures accurate, reliable results for water treatment, environmental, and industrial labs, supporting seamless data management and calibration.
The Benchtop Turbidity Meter TU1000 is a laboratory device designed to measure the turbidity, or cloudiness, of liquids. It operates by shining a light through a sample and measuring the amount of light scattered by particles in the liquid. The results are displayed in Nephelometric Turbidity Units (NTU). The TU1000 is widely used in water treatment facilities, environmental testing, and industrial processes to monitor and ensure the clarity and quality of liquids. It is known for its accuracy, reliability, and ease of use.
Features:
1.1-7 points calibration using Formazin standards or zero water.
2.Autoranging from 0-1000 NTUs.
3.Data capacity of up to 2000 sets (GLP-compliant).
4.Data stored can be transferred into the computer by USB or RS-232 communication interface.
5.850nm LED Light Source.
6.Uses Nephelometric principle with 90° detection.
7.Meets ISO 7027 and offers consistent light source for higher accuracy.
8.Selectable turbidity units, including the NTU, FNU and EBC.
9.Settable parameters, including user ID, number of calibration points, data and time, etc.
✅ How It Works? 🔬
The AE-TU1000 measures turbidity by shining an 850nm LED light through a liquid sample. Particles in the sample scatter the light at a 90-degree angle, which is detected by the sensor. The amount of scattered light correlates to the turbidity level, displayed in Nephelometric Turbidity Units (NTU). The meter automatically ranges measurements and stores data for precise analysis.
✅ Advantages 💡
High accuracy and repeatability with ISO 7027 compliance ensure trusted results
Autoranging function simplifies measurement across wide turbidity levels (0–1000 NTU)
Flexible calibration (1–7 points) guarantees optimal performance for varied applications
Large internal memory stores up to 2000 data sets, with easy USB/RS-232 data transfer
Compact, lightweight design (2.5 kg) ideal for benchtop lab use
Multiple turbidity units selectable for diverse industry standards
