The AELAB GM-4 Gloss Meter measures medium gloss (45°) with high accuracy. It stores 254 readings, supports USB/Bluetooth output, and features automatic calibration, a rechargeable battery, and a backlit display. It is ideal for quality control.

The AELAB GM-4 adopts a compact integral-type design optimized for portable gloss measurement. Its 4-digit backlit LCD provides clear visualization in laboratory and field environments. The measurement aperture of 7 × 14 mm (ellipse) and stable optical geometry ensure consistent 45° illumination for GU quantification. The integrated 3.7 V Lithium Ion battery enables extended operation without external power.
The GM-4 measures reflected light intensity at a fixed 45° geometry using a calibrated optical beam and photodetector. The sensor converts reflected flux into Gloss Units (GU), displaying values with 0.1 resolution. Automatic calibration ensures stability before each measurement. Collected data can be stored in 254 internal memory groups and exported via USB or optional Bluetooth software for QC reporting.
The AELAB GM-4 provides USB data output and supports optional Bluetooth data transmission. Compatible PC software enables data logging, calibration records, and GLP-oriented documentation.
