Overview

The AELAB Walk-in Fume Hood FH1200 Series is designed for laboratories requiring a large internal working space and powerful exhaust ventilation. With a memory function to restore settings after power failure and the ability for operators to walk into the hood for operation, the system enhances workflow efficiency and safety. A large-room exhaust configuration supports the use of sizeable laboratory equipment and instrumentation.

This walk-in fume hood ensures stable containment performance using controlled inflow velocity, high-grade structural materials, and efficient illumination for safe, continuous laboratory operation.

 

⚙️ Design & Construction

The AELAB FH1200 Series walk-in fume hood is constructed with a 1.0mm cold-rolled steel exterior coated with bacteria-resistant powder for durability and contamination control. The interior chamber uses high-grade melamine board offering acid and alkali resistance. A manual toughened-glass front window allows safe viewing and access. The system includes an external blower, LED lamp, water tap, gas tap, PP cup sink, and remote-controlled water and gas valves.

 

🔬 Working Principle / Testing Method

The FH1200 Series stabilizes hazardous fumes by maintaining an inflow air velocity of 0.3–0.8m/s and evacuating exhaust through a high-volume blower system. Air passes from the operator opening through the internal chamber and out via a PVC exhaust duct. Illumination ≥800Lux supports safe chemical handling, while XYZ ≤4μm vibration control ensures stable operation for sensitive equipment.
