AELAB ABBE Digital Refractometer WYA-3S/WYA-2S – High-Precision Refractive Index & Brix Measurement for Labs

The ABBE Digital Refractometer WYA Series is a high-precision instrument designed to measure the refractive index (nD) and Brix (mass percentage of sucrose, glucose, F42, F55 HFCS) of transparent and translucent liquids and solids. These refractometers are ideal for determining the dry solid content of fruit juices, vegetables, soft drinks, and canned goods.

WYA-3S:

The WYA-3S features a visual targeting system and a color LCD touch screen, providing a user-friendly, intuitive interface for easy operation and clear data interpretation. It is equipped with an imported LED light source that operates at a stable 589nm wavelength, ensuring long-term accuracy without temperature rise, high brightness, and energy efficiency. The instrument’s temperature correction function enhances measurement reliability, making it suitable for demanding applications in industries like food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and chemical processing. The WYA-3S can store up to 500 sets of measurement data, making it easy to track and analyze results.

WYA-2S:

The WYA-2S is a slightly more compact model with similar features to the WYA-3S but designed for environments where slightly less extreme temperature tolerance is acceptable. With a measuring range of refractive index (nD) from 1.3000 to 1.7000 and a Brix range of 0-100%, this model is ideal for less demanding applications that still require high accuracy and ease of use. It is also equipped with a stable light source and temperature compensation, although it operates within a narrower temperature range (0-50°C) compared to the WYA-3S. The WYA-2S is suitable for labs and industries where standard refractive index and Brix measurements are essential but extreme precision is not required in temperature-sensitive conditions.
