The AELAB MX-C Cell Disruptor is a compact, high-speed laboratory device engineered for efficient disruption of cells, yeast, bacteria, algae, and fungi. Designed for reliability and consistency, the MX-C prepares high-quality lysates for downstream molecular biology, genomic, and biochemical applications.
Using a high-speed circumferential vortex combined with oscillation, the AELAB MX-C delivers uniform mechanical shear forces to rapidly rupture cell walls. This ensures efficient DNA, RNA, and protein release for purification, sequencing, and analytical workflows.
The AELAB MX-C Cell Disruptor features a robust, compact housing with a precision-engineered vortex–oscillation drive system. The 4 mm orbital diameter ensures effective microtube agitation, while the adjustable 0–3000 rpm speed range allows controlled shear force for different sample types. The platform supports 8 × 2 mL microtubes, enabling parallel lysis for high-throughput labs. The system operates on universal 200–240 V / 100–120 V power input for global compatibility.
The MX-C disrupts samples by generating strong vortex-induced shear forces inside sealed microtubes. As the tubes move in a 4 mm orbit under vortex–oscillation, the mechanical energy breaks cell membranes and walls, releasing intracellular components such as genomic DNA, RNA, proteins, and metabolites. The controlled speed adjustment allows optimized lysis conditions for microbes, yeast, fungi, and soft tissue samples.
The AELAB MX-C is designed as a standalone laboratory disruptor with simplified operation. It integrates seamlessly with downstream instruments such as centrifuges, PCR systems, spectrophotometers, and DNA/RNA purification kits. Data workflow compatibility supports GLP-compliant sample preparation sequences.
