The AELAB BZY Series Automatic Surface Tension Meter features a rigid mechanical frame with a spacious open sample area and a precision motorized sample stage. A magnetic lock air shield minimizes airflow disturbance during measurement. The instrument integrates high-precision mechanical sensors and a smooth lifting mechanism to stabilize force detection during surface tension testing.

🔬 Working Principle / Testing Method

The AELAB BZY Series measures surface tension and interfacial tension using the Du Nouy Ring Method and the Wilhelmy Plate Method. The motorized sample stage raises or lowers the liquid sample at a controlled speed, while the force exerted on the ring or plate is quantified to calculate surface tension values. Manual testing of critical micelle concentration is supported.
