



The AELAB WM-106 Whiteness Meter performs direct measurement of blue light whiteness for objects and powders with flat surfaces. The instrument integrates an LED light source, optical system, detection system, data processing unit, and digital display to deliver quantitative whiteness values using the R457 calculation method.
Designed in accordance with JJG 512-2002 National Metrological Whiteness Meter Verification Regulation, the AELAB WM-106 supports standardized and reproducible whiteness testing across industrial and laboratory environments.
The AELAB WM-106 Whiteness Meter features a compact handheld main unit paired with an external optical probe. The optical path adopts a corrected filter system and a 45°/0° illumination geometry, enabling stable diffuse reflectance measurement. High-quality imported electronic components ensure reliable long-term operation.
The AELAB WM-106 Whiteness Meter operates based on the photoelectric effect. A long-life LED light source emitting at 457 nm illuminates the sample surface. The diffuse reflected radiant brightness energy is received by the optical cell, amplified through an auto-zeroing operational amplifier, calibrated via an energy correction circuit, and converted into a direct digital whiteness value.

The AELAB WM-106 Whiteness Meter conforms to JJG 512-2002 and supports multiple national and international standards including GB3978, GB3979, GB7973, GB7974, ISO2470, ISO2471, GB8904.2, QB1840, GB2913, GB13025.2, GB1543, GB10339, GB5950, GB12911, and GB2409.
