Overview
Riffle divider sampler’s structure is simple but it is practical. The fillister was in a line. It is used to divide equally each kind of seed, when pours into the seed from above the instrument, divides into alternately through a series of reverse directions chute the sample equal two parts. Either separates many times, obtains the isometric, supplies the science sample experiment. It adopts stainless steel material.
Put the two plats into two discharge holes. Use the third plate to take the sample. The sample surface in the third plate should keep flat. Put the sample into the machine slowly. Put the machine in a flat surface. Don’t mixing foreign material in the sample. After using, clean the machine.
⚙️ Design & Construction
The AELAB HGG-I and HGG-II Riffle Dividers are manufactured from corrosion-resistant Stainless Steel to ensure durability and contamination-free operation during seed sample preparation. Each model incorporates a fixed array of precision chutes with defined groove widths—12.7mm for the HGG-I and 25.4mm for the HGG-II—to regulate uniform seed flow and accurate division. The rigid frame maintains structural stability while handling seed quantities up to 2000g.
🔬 Working Principle / Testing Method
The instrument divides a bulk seed sample by directing material through a sequence of alternating chutes. As the sample is poured from the top, the seeds distribute evenly into two symmetrical discharge compartments. This reverse-direction chute geometry ensures both halves are statistically identical, enabling reliable laboratory sub-sampling for grain moisture analysis, purity determination, and general agricultural research workflows.
💡 Key Advantages
- Uniform division of seed lots for repeatable analytical testing
- Precision-machined Stainless Steel chutes minimize sample retention
- Supports diverse seed sizes from fine grains to large kernels
- Stable flat-base construction prevents vibration and uneven flow
- Easy-to-clean structure for contamination-free seed handling
- High-capacity models enabling sample division up to 2000g
- Reliable for GLP-compliant sample preparation protocols
🔗 Connectivity & Integration
The AELAB HGG Series is a fully mechanical instrument and does not require power or digital interfaces. It integrates seamlessly into seed testing workflows alongside moisture analyzers, seed blowers, and sieving apparatus within laboratory and field research stations.
