The leak measurement principle of the test:
Vacuum of the sealed tank, soak in water sample produce both inside and outside differential pressure, pressure reached set value, keep the setting time, observation sample gas to escape, to determine the sample sealing performance and strength of destruction, which automatically maintain tank pressure constant pressure function, time to time, instruments and automatic control, electromagnetic valve, pressure relief tank pressure is close to zero, electromagnetic valve automatically shut down, the whole test process automatic completion, without human involvement.

How does a leak tester work?
Test requirements: Vacuum: -50kPa,Hold time: 40S
1.Place the test specimen
Open the vacuum tank and inject proper amount of water. The injection amount should be put into the sample after the top cover is fastened, and the water level in the tank is about 10mm higher than the upper side of the porous press plate (refer to appendix).
2.Set the holding pressure to -50kPa, holding time to 0040S, accuracy to 0.2kPa, confirm to return to the test interface.
3.Press the “Start” button to start the test and start pumping. The indicator light is on, and the pressure shows rising.
4.In the pressure holding process, if the pressure is lower than the “set pressure-accuracy”, the pumping solenoid valve will start pumping again to maintain the pressure within the range of “set pressure ± accuracy”
5.the last 5S of the countdown will beep indication, countdown to zero, back blowing solenoid valve suction automatic pressure relief and air release, at the same time the indicator light, real-time display tank pressure decline process, when the pressure is close to zero, back blowing solenoid valve closed to complete the pressure relief process.
6.according to the visual sample leakage, press the up arrow to choose whether leakage, press the “print” button to print the test report.
7.The technician completes the test, changes the sample, and repeats the next test process.
How to maintenance the vacuum leak tester?

- Refueling Steps:
- Unscrew the oil plug and slowly add oil to the middle of the two oil level lines to prevent spillage.
- Turn on the power to start the pump and let it run for about one minute.
- Check the oil level through the oil window. If it’s too low, turn off the pump, refuel, and recheck.
- Securely tighten the oil plug after ensuring the correct oil level.
- Oil Replacement: Replace the vacuum pump oil promptly if it becomes emulsified or contaminated.
3. Oil Change Procedure

- Run the pump for about one minute to ensure it is in the holding state.
- Open the air inlet while the pump is running to force the oil in the cavity to flow out.
- Steps for Changing Oil:
- Turn off the pump and open the oil plug to drain the used oil into a suitable container for proper disposal.
- Tilt the pump body to ensure all residual waste oil is fully discharged.
- Tighten the drain plug securely.
- Open the refueling plug and add the new pump oil provided with the device.
