The detector applies the luciferase-luciferin bioluminescence principle to quantify adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Light intensity emitted by the enzyme reaction is measured in Relative Light Units (RLUs), directly correlating with microbial contamination. Results are displayed within 15 seconds, significantly reducing analysis time compared to traditional culture methods.
The AELAB LD-ATP features MiniUSB data transmission, enabling result uploads to PCs. Supplied software allows secure data storage, analysis, and GLP-compliant documentation. Automatic ID management supports up to 50 users, ensuring traceable multi-operator testing.
