This AELAB BHA-5000 hematology system utilizes laser scattering technology to quantify cell size and internal composition by analyzing scattered light signals. The instrument supports venous and capillary whole blood modes as well as pre-diluted samples, enabling flexible operation in routine diagnostics.
The AELAB BHA-5000 features a precision 50 µm gem hole aperture that stabilizes cell counting accuracy. Its double-channel WBC classification system improves resolution and reduces analytical error. The integrated high-definition 10.4-inch resistive touch screen supports gloved operation, while the internal liquid system includes automatic cleaning, anti-clogging, burn, back-flush, and soaking functions. A durable columnar Platinum electrode ensures long-term reliability.
The analyzer applies laser scattering to irradiate blood cells individually as they pass through the optical detection zone. The intensity and pattern of scattered light are used to classify leukocyte subsets and quantify RBC and PLT populations. Digital filtering eliminates noise, while coincidence calibration corrects overlapping event signals. The system generates 2 histograms and 2 scatter grams for comprehensive differential analysis.
The AELAB BHA-5000 supports onboard data storage of up to 100000 results and provides automated printing through its integrated thermal printer. The system can be connected to laboratory information systems (LIS) via standard communication ports, enabling GLP-compliant data export and traceability.
