The AELAB BZY100 and BZY200 Surface Tensiometers feature a rigid enclosed frame with a precision motorized sample stage. The open sample area allows convenient preparation, while the magnetic lock air shield minimizes airflow disturbance during measurement. High-precision mechanical sensors ensure stable force detection during ring and plate testing.
The AELAB BZY Series measures surface tension and interfacial tension using the Du Nouy ring method and Wilhelmy plate method. The instrument automatically raises and lowers the sample stage while monitoring force changes on the ring or plate. Measurement programs control motion and data acquisition to ensure repeatable and interference-free testing, including manual determination of critical micelle concentration.
