The DS Series colorimeters employ a d/8 measurement geometry with specular included (SCI) configuration, ensuring consistency across reflective and diffuse samples. Each unit features a full-band balanced LED light source and an 8 mm aperture. The IPS full color display provides sharp visual feedback, while the lightweight 90 g structure supports single-handed operation.
Based on the CIE-Lab system, the DS-01 quantifies ΔE*ab values for standard color deviation analysis. The DS-02 and DS-03 extend this capability to multiple color spaces including HunterLab, CIE-LCh, and CIE-Luv.
