The AELAB ZRS-6ST Dissolution Tester is used to examine the dissolving speed and degree of solid preparations such as drug tablets or capsules in specified solvents. The instrument adopts a classical modeling design and delivers high performance, stability, reliability, simple operation, and long-term durability.

ZRS-6ST is a new-generation drug dissolution tester developed and produced by our company. It features an electric lifting head with overturn capability, allowing convenient paddle and basket replacement. All working parameters can be preset and stored automatically for repeatable workflows.

⚙️ Design & Construction

The AELAB ZRS-6ST is engineered with a stainless steel paddle rod, basket rod, and basket turning components that comply with Chinese Pharmacopoeia quality requirements. The system incorporates an electric lifting mechanism enabling automatic head raise and overturn for improved access during method setup. A thermostatic water bath with integrated temperature sensor ensures stable and uniform heating across all six dissolution cups. The large LCD interface provides clear visualization of operating status and parameter settings.

The dissolution process in the ZRS-6ST operates by rotating paddles or baskets at a controlled speed between 20–200 rpm while maintaining the water bath at a precise temperature up to 45℃. The electronic sensor continuously monitors temperature across multiple bath points. Sampling periods are programmable from 1–999 minutes, with up to nine intervals available for automatic countdown. Pharmacopoeia test methods can be recalled directly, enhancing compliance and reducing setup time.
