It incorporates multi-element filter channels, automated correlation coefficient calculations, flame safety features, and a clear LCD interface for streamlined quantitative cation determination.

With optional 2–5 element configurations, the AE-FP Series supports straight-line, polygon, and quadratic curve calibration, providing high reproducibility and accurate response within < 8 seconds. The instrument includes a mist separator, pressure gauge, flame-out protection, and RS232 data interface.

 

⚙️ Design & Construction

The AELAB AE-FP Series integrates a robust flame photometric module with a spray chamber, observation window, waste container, chimney parts, and a Liquefied Petroleum Gas interface. The system uses dedicated filters for K, Na, Li, Ca, and Ba. The LCD screen and numeric keypad provide direct operational control. A pressure-reducing valve, moisture separator, and adjustable flame size knob support safe, stable operation. The air supply is driven by an integrated or external oil-free air compressor (20–23 L/min, 0–6 Bar range).

 

🔬 Working Principle / Testing Method

The AE-FP Series quantifies cations by aspirating the sample into a controlled flame where atoms emit element-specific wavelengths. The instrument detects these emissions via matched optical filters and converts them into concentration values using preloaded calibration curves. Automated coefficient calculations, multi-point calibration (up to 10 points in AE-FP8201-B), and selectable curve-fitting algorithms ensure accurate potassium, sodium, lithium, calcium, and barium determination.
