The AELAB CEMS-2000 B FT is an FTIR continuous flue gas monitoring system designed for real-time analysis of multiple gas components. Adopting FTIR analysis technology, it offers wide dynamic measurement range, low detection limit, and accurate continuous monitoring of industrial emissions.

The system features FTIR analyser white cavity design with measuring range up to 5 m, a cavity mirror surface using special anti-corrosion treatment for stability and long service life. Its ROCKSOLID interferometer with anti-shear movement ensures strong vibration resistance, enabling reliable operation in industrial sites.

 

⚙️ Design & Construction

The AELAB CEMS-2000 B FT is built with an anti-corrosion treated optical cavity, high-temperature sampling capability, and stable FTIR spectrometric design. The system includes a xenon light source with a 10-year service life, holographic grating for beam splitting, and an array sensor free of moving parts. The cabinet supports 5–40 °C ambient operation with 20–90% RH and is protected against dust, rain, electromagnetic radiation, lightning, low temperature, and fire.

 

🔬 Working Principle / Testing Method

The system uses in-situ extraction and full heat tracing sampling. Pollutants and humidity are measured by FTIR technology via characteristic infrared absorption. The IR beam passes through the interferometer to form an interference spectrum, which is focused onto the detection cell. After absorption, the spectrum is processed to quantify each gas component. Additional modules include:

  • SO₂ / NO / NO₂ measurement: Ultraviolet-visible DOAS
  • O₂ measurement: Zirconium oxide method
  • Flow measurement: Pitot tube or matrix method
  • Pressure measurement: Isolation diaphragm sensor
