The Fluo-200 operates on a fluorescence-based detection method, using LED excitation and photodiode sensing to measure fluorescence intensity from nucleic acids and proteins. Users insert a small sample (1–20 µL) into a 0.5mL PCR tube, and the device emits light at specific wavelengths to excite the target molecules. The resulting fluorescence is captured and quantified via dual emission filters, ensuring rapid and highly accurate results with minimal sample input.
