AELAB Fraction Collector SBS-160 – Precision Automated Liquid Collection System

Fraction collector is one of the basic equipment for biochemistry experiments and biological drug production. It is used to automatically and quantitatively collect liquid droplets from the chromatography column, so as to achieve the purpose of packing different active groups into different tubes.

The AELAB AE-SBS-160 (LCD display) adopts ABS material with a one-piece molded structure and incorporates ergonomic 35° bevel control panel design for simplified operation. The system uses a new microcomputer chip for LCD liquid crystal display control and supports automatic tube positioning, optional collection modes, and programmable timing.

The integrated digital label design ensures each tube position corresponds directly to its assigned number.

The SBS-160 operates through microcomputer-controlled collection, enabling timed, inverted, or clockwise modes depending on the chromatographic setup. Users can select either time-based collection (1 second to 199 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds) or drop-based collection (1–9999 drops). The unit regulates tube exchange automatically, maintaining consistent alignment without deviation. Parameter setting includes collection time, tube settings, and end-point configuration.
