Principle
The FTIR with Michelson interferometer principle, the light emitted by the light source by Michelson interferometer to optical interference, let interference illumination samples, the receiver receives the interference light with sample information, and then by the computer software by transform to obtain the spectra of the samples.
Based on the Michelson interferometer principle, the FTIR-990 emits light that is split and interfered through precise optics. The resulting interference pattern is passed through the sample, where specific wavelengths are absorbed. The modified signal is collected by a sensitive DLATGS detector and transformed into a spectral graph using proprietary software—providing rapid, high-resolution insights into sample composition.
