A microspectrophotometer is an advanced instrument that integrates the functions of a microscope and a spectrophotometer, allowing precise measurement of light absorption, transmission, and reflectance in very small sample areas. This device is widely used in fields such as material science, forensics, and biology, where it helps analyze the composition and properties of microscopic samples. By focusing light onto a specific area of the sample and detecting how the light interacts with the material, the microspectrophotometer provides detailed spectral data that can be used to identify and characterize materials at a microscopic level.
Features
The NANO-600 uses a Xenon flash lamp to illuminate ultra-small liquid samples placed on a stainless steel/quartz fiber pedestal. Light passing through the sample is detected by a high-resolution CMOS array, measuring absorbance across a wide wavelength range. This allows accurate quantification of nucleic acids, proteins, and other biomolecules without the need for dilution.
