The AELAB Single Channel Coagulation Analyzer SK5001 features extremely low reagent consumption with a minimum of 20 μl. The precise positioning system for test cups and liquid-adding tips enables more accurate operation. The measuring cell light-shielding system eliminates interference from external light. Two fibrinogen analysis methods are provided (FIB calculated through PT test, quantitative determination). The fully Chinese-language operation interface provides prompts for each step of the operation.

A calibration curve with more than five points can be set, and modified experimental parameters can be stored permanently. Various new items can be added. It has both online start and manual start modes for initiating measurements. An incubation management system with an audible signal prompt is included. A built-in thermal printer provides comprehensive reports, including various patient information and reference value ranges. Large-capacity storage is capable of storing 10,000 test results.

⚙️ Design & Construction

The AELAB SK5001 uses a 470 nm long-life cold light source with a measuring cell light-shielding system to stabilize photometric readings. Temperature is regulated at 37 °C ± 0.3 °C for coagulation incubation. The interface employs a 240*128 graphic LCD display with guided prompts, and the instrument integrates a built-in thermal printer (paper diameter 30 mm, length 57 mm) for on-the-spot reporting.

🔬 Working Principle / Testing Method

The analyzer controls the reaction at 37 °C and detects clot formation photometrically at 470 nm. Measurement time can be set independently for each assay. The system supports online sampling with automatic timing or manual start, and converts results to S, %, PTR, INR, and mg/dL. Typical throughput is PT 90 tests/h and APTT 40 tests/h.

💡 Key Advantages

  • Minimum reagent volume of 20 μl reduces operating cost and conserves consumables
  • Stable incubation at 37 °C ± 0.3 °C ensures reproducible coagulation kinetics
  • Repeatability CV ≤ 5% with linear correlation coefficient r > 0.98 supports reliable quantitation
  • Selectable sample volumes of 20/30/40 μl accommodate different protocols
  • High productivity: PT up to 90 tests/h; APTT up to 40 tests/h
  • Onboard memory for 10,000 test results enables long-term data retention
  • Integrated thermal printer outputs comprehensive patient reports with reference ranges

🔗 Connectivity & Integration

The SK5001 incorporates a built-in thermal printer for immediate report generation, including patient information and reference value ranges. (External communication ports are not specified in the catalog.)
