The AELAB STM-2T Stormer Viscometer is widely used to determine KU values representing material viscosity in accordance with ASTM D562 and GB9296 standards. The instrument supports quantitative viscosity analysis of non-Newtonian fluids with strong anti-jamming performance and real-time data visualization.
The AELAB STM-2T Stormer Viscometer features a rigid vertical frame with precision rotor alignment to ensure accurate torque transmission. The measuring rotor is vertically immersed into the sample container, while a front observation level allows precise leveling of the base to maintain measurement consistency.
The STM-2T Stormer Viscometer measures viscosity by rotating a standardized paddle at a constant speed of 200 r/min within the sample. The resistance torque generated by the fluid is converted into KU, g, and cP values, enabling quantitative analysis of shear-thinning non-Newtonian materials.


The AELAB STM-2T Stormer Viscometer is used for viscosity analysis in paint manufacturing, ink production, coatings development, resin processing, and material research laboratories. It supports process control, formulation comparison, and quality assurance testing.
